    College Introduction

    Peshawar Medical College Peshawar with a mission to achieve excellence in professional competence and ethical values, offers merit-based admissions to a five-year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. The transparent admission process ensures the admission of high quality students to fulfill the goal of the institution by producing graduates who are capable of delivering ethically driven quality health care to the community, contribute in the advancement of health research, development of evidence-based health care interventions and prove to be a socially responsible, honest, respectable and patriotic professionals.

    Admissions to private-sector MBBS and BDS programs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are conducted through Khyber Medical University (KMU) in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).
    15% quota is reserved for Overseas Pakistanis and 5% quota for foreign nationals.


    1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • The candidate must have passed obtaining minimum 60% marks in Higher Secondary School Certificate or FSc (Pre-Medical) 12th grade (at least 60%) or equivalent qualification from any BISE in Pakistan or abroad.
  • The candidates who have passed the Medical & Dental Colleges Admissions Test, MDCAT-2023, 2024 or MDCAT-2025 with minimum 55% marks for MBBS and 50% marks for BDS.
  • The candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/ Merged Districts (MDs).
  • Candidates applying for Foreign quota seats must fulfill eligibility criteria as laid down in section (7) of PM&DC undergraduate education (Admissions, curriculum and Conduct) Policy & Regulations 2023 and subsequent Notification issued by PM&DC No PF-1-C-PM&DC/Notification/2025/910 Dated 31st October, 2025

    2. HSSC or Equivalent 40%
